Easter Lilly's Story...
Please contact Leanne (jelcorb@yahoo.com) for more information about this pet.

Meow,
My name is Easter Lilly, Lilly for short. I was captured on Easter Sunday thus my name. I was running with feral cats, I guess someone had abandoned me. But when I was caught I didn't show feral behavior, so I was taken to be spay & viola! I was already spayed! So I used to be someone's pet. Since I had been running 'feral' I had to scrounge for food & shelter & I look a little rough around the edges. When I was under for surgery, the vet discovered I had a bad tooth & it needed to come out. I have a little deformity on my bottom lip, my foster mom believes it is from fighting to survive. I can't believe I get a second chance to be cared for once more! Purr at you soon, I hope!

About Our Shelter...
I am a hairstylist with a home salon, this allows me to have the shelter at my home. I started this program because the city of Tishomingo does not take cats at their shelter. I love cats & was offended at such a bias process, so I started fostering & then my operation turned into a rescue/adoption program. I am in league with Homeward Bound Humane Society & their s/n clinic. It's a 2 day clinic every 2 weeks. I volunteer 6-10 hours each day & use this opportunity to get my shelter cats s/n, & their rabies vaccine. I also provide a"taxi" service to the clinic for anyone with an animal that needs to be s/n. I take people with me to the s/n clinic for educational purposes (I'm trying to convince people of the need to s/n) & to meet a need for them to do community service work (ie; boy scout earning a badge, probation hours served) It's rewarding to me to bring together a cat & it's human.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Since this is at my home my hours are unlimited. All I suggest is that they call first to make sure I'm home.
Our Adoption Process...
$35 adoption fee (remberses me on s/n & vaccines) a routine contract, that includes if an indoor only cat is adopted it is to be strictly an indoor cat, any cat can be returned if there are problems. All cats have to be s/n before leaving the shelter.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
Tishomingo, Ravia, Durant, Madill, Kingston, Ada, Ardmore, Milburn, Connerville, Achille, Sherman,TX, McKinney,TX
