| Last winter, Rosemary was left in a box with 8 other kittens outside a Petco store. We don’t know her early story, but she must not have gotten much love because she wasn’t comfortable with people at the beginning. After many hours of love and attention she has learned to trust and craves attention. It still takes Rosemary time to adjust to any new situation. In her new home she will probably need a few weeks of quiet, patience and understanding before she will return to her normally spunky self. Once comfortable in her new home, you will see Rosemary’s playful, whimsical nature. Rosemary gets along great with other cats. She loves to play with anything and is smart as a whip. Recently she learned to ask for extra pets by climbing on her foster mom’s lap. She is not a ‘lap cat’ per se, but she has the potential. Just over a year old, Rosemary is spayed, tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV and is current on vaccines. She does need to be adopted into a quite home with adults and possibly children if they are older or very gentle.
