Originally adopted from the Humane Society 2 years ago Oreo's owners said they didn't have time for him any more and dumped him back at the shelter. One of our volunteers used to work at the Humane Society and took Oreo home with him every night. When he left the shelter he was able to keep Oreo and find him a home through Adopt-A-Mutt. He is an amazingly sweet, calm, and well mannered boy. Oreo loves to go for walks and runs, is already crate trained, housebroke, and knows the commands sit and down. He is an extremely smart boy who really wants to please his humans.
All he really wants is someone to love and someone who will love him. Give him a belly rub and he will give you all his love and affection forever and ever and ever. He's really just a big fuzzy lap dog who loves to be loved. Oreo loves to play and play with other dogs and would probably be happiest in a home where he had a dog or two to play with. He likes chew toys and rawhides but especially loves playing with stuffed animals. If he can't entice a dog or human to play with him he will toss his stuffed animal in the air then pounce on it and throw it in the air again. He's a big funny goofball that is sure to make you laugh. Oreo is already neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready to come live with you.
