Boo , a male bichon, born in 2006, came to Small Paws Rescue when his owner passed away. It seems that Boo had no socialization at all and is quite afraid of human interaction.
Boo is a big bichon boy weighing in at 24 pounds. His hair had to be shaved, but he should be a very handsome boy when it grows out.
He is working to learn house training and walking on a leash. Everything is so new and frightening to him. He is calmer around another dog (preferably a female) and will mimic her actions, so he needs to be placed in a home where an already socialized dog can teach him how to "be a dog". The home cannot have children under 10 years old.
Boo is fascinated with his foster mom's cat and loves to watch him. He gently approaches the cat so as not to startle it, so he will do well in a home with cats. Boo is a gentle boy who really wants to be loved, but is so unfamiliar with touch that it frightens him.
Boo is being fostered in KY
