My name is Chico I’m about 5 years old have waited awhile for a home.  I'm a wonderful little guy so don't understand why I was thrown away.  I’m a Chihuahua/mix (my foster thinks Chihuahua & Min. Pin.).  I’m pretty small but have long thin legs…I only weigh about 7 lbs . and am shy, but I don’t quiver or shake unless I’m truly cold.  The cats in my foster home are bigger than me so even though I will bark at them and try to chase the ones that run, I’m very cautious when they don’t cooperate and sit there and don’t seem to be afraid of me.  I play with the other dogs once I get to know them and do well on a leash but would prefer to be carried as crowds or strange things make me nervous.  I behave while riding in the car, but tend to try to sit on your lap while you drive.  My favorite time is watching T.V. on my foster Mom’s lap in the evenings.  Due to my size, it is felt that I would do better in a home without children though I’ve let children pet me without incident.  I’d love to sit on the couch with you.  Call Sharon at (661) 822-5213.
