This dog was living in horrid conditions & needed to be removed immediately. His "home" was a un air-conditioned garage in plastic cage with absolutely no air circulation. The stench was nauseating & this dog was getting next to no socialization. He’s timid, but I saw no aggression - he just needs to be shown how to be a dog. Toby is 3 yrs. old. Toby had sores on his legs & lower body from sitting & lying in his own urine since he never got out of their cage.
Toby is now safe in a foster & out of the horrid conditions he lived in for almost 3 yrs. He looks & feels much better after a bath & a trip to the vet. His eye is doing much better & he’s on antibiotics to help with his skin issues. He has a wonderful temperament & will make a great companion. Toby weighs 90 lbs. & needs another 10 to fill out his large frame. He has the biggest melon head I ever saw on a dog. All Star Pet Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill, volunteer run organization.
