I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Mickey is a male bichon who was born in February ,1999. He is in the process of dieting and has recently lost 8 pounds and is down to 30 pounds and still loosing. He can be adopted for the Senior Dog Rate of $75.00
Mickey is a happy, sweet boy. He gets along well with other dogs but would also do well as your only dog. He also gets along well with cats.
Mickey is blind but does well navigating. He learned the layout of his foster home in just one day! He compensates by using his hearing and sense of smell. He loves to follow you around the house. He will need a home without stairs.
Mickey loves to go for walks and gets excited when he knows it is time to go.
Mickey is house trained and will whine to let you know he needs to go outside. He gets along well with children aged 7 and over. He is a sweet gentleman who is truly a companion dog.

**Small Paws® Rescue has rescued, vetted, and rehomed over 7,500 Bichons since its inception in September of 1998!
**Small Paws® Rescue has saved the lives of 74 Bichons with heart murmurs. They each had life-saving surgery to correct their heart murmurs and today are living normal happy lives!
**Small Paws® Rescue was featured on the cable network Animal Planet for the 5 years.
**Small Paws® Rescue is frequently invited to speak at national functions to further educate the public about the need for breed rescue organizations to exist, the importance of spaying and neutering your pet, and the suffering that continues daily in the puppy mills of America.
Small Paws® Rescue adoption fee is $150 for dogs under 8. For dogs over 8, the adoption fee is $75. This includes vaccinations, heartworm check, teeth cleaning (if needed) and altering (IF over 6 months of age).
If shipping is required, there will be these additional fees: $175.00 American Airlines Priority Parcel air fare, $40.00 crate and $35.00 for the health certificate. The crate, health certificate and airfare are not refundable.
