My name is Zoey and I am a beautiful 4yo black Chihuahua/Pug mix. After being abused, I was left for days, unable to walk and finally taken to the vet. I had 3 pelvic fractures that required my bones to be pinned/screwed back together, as well as a chronic knee issue that they repaired while doing my other surgery. Without the love and kindness of the folks at Lost Angels and a great orthopedic veterinary surgeon, I would have been put down because my surgery is so costly.
Now, I have had my broken bones operated on, and I’m well on my way to a complete recovery! I am looking forward to life with a loving, caring family who will treat me like the princess I was meant to be; one that I can shower with love and who will do the same for me.
My next checkup will be the second week in October and if I'm given the A'OK, I'll be spayed soon after. As terrific as I've been doing after my surgery, I will probably never be 100% perfect. I am able to walk around just fine, but there are those times when my back leg gives me a little trouble. I am a little shy when I first meet people, but with lots of love and understanding, I will warm up to you in no time.
I will be spayed, am up to date on all my shots including rabies, heartworm tested (neg), microchipped, dewormed for intestinal parasites, currently on a heartworm and flea preventative. I come with one free vet visit. My adoption donation is $200.00.
