Katie's story...
Katie is a beautiful 2.5 yr old femlae Poodle/Lhasa mix that weighs 16 lbs.  She was rescued from a kill shelter and is very lucky to be receiving a second chance at life.

She is crate trained and working very hard on house habits.  She would do fine in a home with another dog but no young children please as Katie can be nippy if startled.  She is spayed, all shots including rabies and bordetella, wormed for intestinal parasites, heartworm tested (neg.) and micro chipped.  She has been started on a monthly heartworm and flea preventative and her adoption comes with one free vet visit to a participating LAAR veterinarian.

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a non profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of unwanted dogs. We take our pets from kill shelters, owners who can longer care for them, and strays. They are completed vetted and then fostered in our homes until the perfect family can be found for them.

We show our adoptable dogs every Saturday between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm at the Petco on the corner of N. Dale Mabry Hwy and Fletcher Ave. in Tampa.
Our Adoption Process...
We have an application that is the first step in our adoption process. This application can be downloaded from our website at www.lostangelsanimalrescue.org. The adoption fee varies depending on the medical expenses incurred. We also require vet references and potentially a home visit before an adoption is finalized.
