This information is only used for consideration of adoptions and not given or sold for any reason. Please do not call for information on a pet unless you have first completed an Adoption Application. We do adoptions by appointment only, after review of your application we will contact you via email. All animals listed are on-site, but may already have an appointment set. There are always animals not yet listed at our shelter that you may meet when you come for your appointment.

NOT SO GRANDE Dachshund & Small Dog Rescue is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the rehabilitation and re-homing of secondhand Dachshunds and small dogs. We strive to educate the public to ensure the betterment of all breeds. We evaluate, rehablitate, train, and secure appropriate forever homes for Dachshunds and small breeds. Our goal is to find a forever home regardless of former neglect, abuse, abandonment, or medical conditions. Our main educational points are: spay and neuter awareness, elimination of current euthanasia practices, and Canine Intrevertabral Disc Disease.
