My foster family has given me the name “Buddy”. I wondered up to their home and they were kind enough to take me in because they figured I was lost. Actually, they were able to find my owner through my microchip but sadly he told them that he was losing his home and could not take me back. I guess I didn’t realize that day when he put me out that it was permanent! Lucky for me I found this family because they discovered that I have heartworms and now I can get the medical care I so deserve. I am approx 6 yrs old and 14 lbs.
I am now waiting patiently for a new family and one with Jack experience would be best as I tend to like things my way. I would be fine with another submissive dog and older teens that would enjoy just having me hang around with them. I am crate trained and working hard on my house habits. I have been neutered, all shots including rabies and bordetella, wormed for intestinal parasites, heartworm tested (pos.) and microchipped. I have been started on a monthly heartworm preventative as a form of treatment as well as a flea control and my adoption comes with one free vet visit to a participating LAAR vet.
