Hi there, my name is Rocko and I would sure like to meet you! I am a three year old rotty mix that has come a long way from my shelter days. I LOVE people and would sure like to find someone to snuggle with on the couch. Would you be interested?
I would really like to be an only pet so that I can have all of your attention. My foster mom has been working with me on my manners, which she says I am learning really quickly. My newest trick is to high five, which I love because that means that I get food. She also says that I am excellent walker, ignoring everything else but the walk…even on the Monon!
Some of my other favorite things are car rides, playing fetch, and just relaxing on the couch. It does not take much to wear me out. I am already neutered, up to date on my shots, microchipped, crate trained and house-trained, now all I need is my forever home.
If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website (www.adoptarpo.org/adoptions.asp) for details about our fees and process, complete our Pre-Qualification Form, and return it to adoptions@adoptarpo.org. ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis. We do not have a shelter; pets are in volunteer foster homes.
Our adoption events are held on Saturdays at the East Washington Petsmart from 11-3 and the Castleton Petsmart from 12-4. Please note that not all animals attend the events; please email us at foster@adoptarpo.org to check on a specific pet's location for the upcoming weekend.
