Quincy's Story...
If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please complete this Pre-Qualification Form and email it to adoptions@adoptarpo.org.

Quincy and her sister were tossed from a moving vehicle in a CVS parking lot earlier this year. A good samaritan gathered them up and brought them to ARPO.

Quincy loves her furry foster siblings, and has closely bonded with her foster mom. She likes following her person all around the house and wherever you are, that's where she wants to be! Unfortunately, Quincy has developed some fear issues and barks at small kids. She tolerates her human foster brother, but is not overly trusting of him and sometimes barks when he enters the room. She would be best suited for an adult home and will not be placed with small children.

She was born approximately October of 2007 and currently weighs about 40-45#. She's updated on all her vaccinations, is current on heartworm preventative, spayed, and microchipped as well. An added bonus with an older puppy like Quincy is that she's already housebroken and crate trained!

Quincy has had a lot of practice with daily walking and is gaining confidence on a leash. She's sometimes concerned with loud noises or approaching children in the neighborhood, but happily greets the adults she's come to know and likes to hop up in the truck bed of some of her "regulars".

If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website (www.adoptarpo.org/adoptions.asp) for details about our fees and process, complete our Pre-Qualification Form, and return it to adoptions@adoptarpo.org.  ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis.  We do not have a shelter; pets are in volunteer foster homes.

Our adoption events are held on Saturdays at the East Washington Petsmart from 11-3 and the Castleton Petsmart from 12-4. Please note that not all animals attend the events; please email us at foster@adoptarpo.org to check on a specific pet's location for the upcoming weekend.
