Missy is a 12 yr. old Shih Tzu whose owner died. No other family members wanted her, so she was going to the pound. One of our volunteers happened to be there when she was brought in. She looked so sad that the volunteer took her before she was left there. She is current on vaccinations and spayed. She gets along with dogs, cats, and people. She just wants to be a family member again. Please don’t hold her age against her- she has plenty of years ahead of her! She weighs between 15 and 20 lbs. We are an all volunteer, all breed canine rescue organization.We operate as a 501(C)3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving animals,who are going to be euthanized, and placing them in foster homes until we can get them adopted. All animals are given their shots, heartworm tests and preventative , flea preventative, micro-chipped and are spayed/neutered before adoption takes place. Our Adoption Process...
The fee is $115.00,after we complete a home check, vet check and reference check. We are not a first-come, first-served organization. We only adopt our animals to the best possible home for the individual animal.

We serve all Hampton Roads cities in Virginia, but we can serve any state, if necessary.
