Picked up by our City Animal Control Officer, Rover is a sweet boy, a little on the shy side. He does well with other dogs and does well when people are not pointing a small box at him that flashes in his eyes! He is very playful and would love a home where he is loved and cared for.

You can call the shelter at 601-798-8000 M-F from 10 am until 5 pm for more information on our adoptable animals. We have same day adoptions (unless they have not yet been spayed or neutered). All of our babies are spay/neuter when they go home. They come with a 30 day health insurance policy, a 30 day return policy, and a 5 pound bag of Science Diet food. They have been given shots appropriate to their age and the time they have been in our care. We accept cash, check, and credit/debit cards for our adoption fees. CAT SPECIFIC INFORMATION For more information on cats, you may call 601-799-1541. All cats and kittens are tested for FELV/FIV. Selected cats are at PETsMART in Slidell at all times. Our adoption fee for all felines is $75. We offer micro chipping (cost of registration is included) for an additional $10. DOG SPECIFIC INFORMATION All of our dogs and puppies have a microchip (cost of registration is included in the adoption fee). Adults (anyone over 6 months) are tested for heartworms and are h/w free unless otherwise noted on our website. Heartworm positive dogs are put through a modified treatment before placing them up for adoption. We bring our puppies and dogs to PETsMART in Slidell almost every Sunday. Our adoption fee for all canines is $90. |
