Sage's story...
Sage is a gorgeous, energetic and friendly 42-pound, one to two-year-old female chocolate and vanilla Pit Bull Terrier-mix looking for a loving home. Sage is a sweetheart of a dog who just adores people. She rolls over for bellyrubs and also loves playing with other dogs, and would do very well with a canine playmate. She is very quite and well-behaved when crated. She is living in a foster home with other dogs and is doing beautifully with her house-breaking when kept on schedule. Sage was found as a stray and ended up in a kill shelter where she was to be euthanized...luckily she was saved and placed in rescue until her forever home can be found.

She is very healthy, spayed, heartworm-tested, and up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines. To meet and possibly adopt Sage, please contact Melia at melia88@comcast.net or 708-224-1900. Sage’s adoption fee of $200 benefits rescued pets. Sage is currently being fostered in Chicago, IL.

About Our Rescue Group...
I am an independent dog rescuer. All of the dogs that I have for adoption were saved from needlessly being euthanized in high kill shelters. Once I take a dog into my care, it receives all of the vetting that is necessary including a spay/neuter surgery, HW test, and vaccinations. A foster home is then provided for the dog until a forever adoptive home can be found. When a foster home is not available, the dogs will be placed in paid boarding until they are adopted.

Come Meet Our Pets...
All of these dogs are currently located in foster homes or paid boarding either in Chicago, IL or Steger, IL. An appointment can be made to view any of the animals at the convenience of the potential adopter and the foster.
Our Adoption Process...
The adoption fee for each of the dogs is $200.00. That is to cover the cost of getting the animal spayed/neutered, HW tested and completely UTD on vaccinations. An adoption application can be obtained by contacting us by either phone or email. Once the application has been received and reviewed, a meet and greet will be arranged with your family and the dog you are interested in. A home visit will also be done prior to any adoption being completed.
