Chloe has been in several homes in the past 6 months through no fault of her own and All American Dachshund Rescue has stepped in to make sure her next home is her last. She was a breeder dog for the first 6 years of her life. Her original owner gave her to a man she thought would provide her a pet home but instead all he wanted was to breed her. After breeding her, the man gave her to a family that did want to provide her with a loving home but economic hardships forced them to surrender her. She is continuing to learn how to be a family pet. She does not need to be right under foot. She doesn't give too many doxie kisses. She is a very loving and very loyal dog but she doesn't go overboard with outward displays of affection. She will be protective of her family. She will need continued work on housebreaking. She has one blue eye and one brown eye and she is absolutely gorgeous. She is being fostered in northwestern Alabama. She is not good with cats. She is good with most other dogs however she will fight back if provoked. For the most part, Chloe is very laid back and easy and just needs stability and love. out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo.
