is Samba is a 7-8 year old wonderful black lab who loves affection. Samba prefers to be an inside dog. He is afraid of thunder storms and rain, and looks to humans for comfort. This is one reason he likes to stay inside. He is kid and family friendly. He loves to play fetch, but only inside. Samba may have arthritis and developed an internal growth on his left leg due to this. The growth will be removed and tested before he is adopted. Samba is up to date on his vaccines. He would make a great family pet.
Mindy s a beautiful black lab, about 6-7 years old. She is friendly, but can be a little shy at first. She is the ultimate “fetch” dog. She will play fetch all day long. She never keeps the ball, and drops it at your feet. So much fun! Mindy is undergoing heartworm treatment. A one year supply of her heartguard will be paid for. Mindy is up to date on her vaccines.
Both dogs are great with kids and other dogs.
The shelter is open to the public from 3 - 7 pm seven days a week. Dog adoption fees are $150 per dog and cats are $75 to $100 per cat. These fees help us with cost of spay / neuter, shots, microchips, HW treatment if necessary, other medical expenses and food.
