Uniqua's story...

My name is Uniqua and I am about 2 yrs old. I was rescued on my last day from the Merced shelter along with my kittens. All my kittens were adopted, now here I am waiting for my forever home. I am a bit shy initially, but the wonderful volunteers at the rescue center have been working with me and with lots of love and TLC I am becoming more confident... I will just need the right home, someone willing to give me a chance, time, love and lots of TLC, you wont be sorry.....And I just love the company of other cats and when I the play area I try to make friends with the other cats. It makes us so happy to see Uniqua in the play area, playing with toys and doing all the things cats do, she simply does not like being in a cage. Are you the right person for me?

ADOPTION PROCESS
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes vet exam, spay, microchip, flea treatment, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.

About Our Rescue Group...

Our goal is to work with the community and animal rescue groups to provide a no-kill, temporary sanctuary for pets in need of a home. In this effort, we will provide a safe, clean and caring facility to effectively enable rescued pets to find a family. In addition, The Pet Rescue Center will allocate financial grants, as they are available, to assist families undergoing financial hardship to provide lifesaving treatments for their pet.
The Pet Rescue Center is a non-profit organization that relies on the donations of animal lovers nationwide to help us achieve these goals.

Our Adoption Process...

We require you to fill out an adoption application and if approved you will sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee for that animal. Adoption fees are $150 for cats and $300 for dogs.
