Peggy and Daisy's story...
As some of you may know, I have been fostering Peggy and Daisy, two sweet sisters, rescued from euthanasia at the South Central Shelter.
They have spent the last few weeks at my home, whilst gathering
strength and getting over being abandoned by their owner.

They are the most devoted, sweet, loving pair you could ever meet.
Approximately 13 lbs each and around 2 years old. House trained. They stay close to each other, as you will see from the pictures, but are also very affectionate towards anyone they meet. They love to be held.
These are special dogs.

They now are looking for a permanent home. Ideally they will be
adopted into a home with a yard and with someone who is home a lot.
They will be an amazing, important part of someone's life - trust me.

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs from various Los Angeles shelters the day they are to be euthanized. Our goal is to help provide animals with a second chance to a happy life and to help reduce pet overpopulation through spay and neuter programs. Once rescued, we place our dogs into loving foster homes while they await adoption. We do not keep dogs in kennels. Placing the dogs in foster homes is the first step to rehabilitation, as it allows us to thoroughly evaluate a dog's demeanor and needs enabling us to make the perfect match of dog and permanent owner. We attribute our high rate of successful placement to our foster program. At Ace of Hearts, we do not discriminate against any breed, including those in the bully breed family. Additionally, Ace of Hearts is dedicated to educating the public on how to be responsible pet owners and on the importance of spaying and neutering. We believe the real solution to pet overpopulation is through spaying and neutering pets.

When: Three Saturdays a month (call for exact dates)

If you fill out an application, we can arrange for private showings of the dog at the foster parent's home.
Our Adoption Process...
First, you can fill out an application at www.aceofheartsdogs.com under HOW TO ADOPT. Then you can come see the dog at our Saturday adoptions or directly and the foster parent's home. Third, we would do a housecheck, then upon receipt of the $250 donation and signed Adoption Agreement Form, you are good to go! Please call (310) 358-3344 if you have any questions/requests.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
Los Angeles and Surrounding Areas (Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, West Hollywood, Hollywood, Studio City), San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, and the San Fernando Valley. Please note: We adopt dogs out anywhere, as long as the adopter comes to travel with them.
