Roscoe is a very friendly, happy-go-lucky 8-9 month old Pit/Lab Mix. He is overly friendly and great with kids and other dogs. Roscoe is housebroken, knows how to use a doggie door, and sleeps indoors at night in his crate. Roscoe is an active dog, he loves to go on walks or for rides in the car. His tail never stops wagging. He is a very people oriented dog as Pits and Labs are. He knows how to sit and lay down on command. He is still a puppy and gets excited around other dogs and new experiences. Roscoe is current on his vaccinations, microchipped & neutered. He has a small adoption fee. About Our Rescue Group...

Our Mission Statement: Animals Rule Placement Foundation was founded in 2003 by Stephanie Crawford. We are a group of non paid volunteers who have come together to rescue and foster animals in need of adoption. We believe in the spay & neuter of all animals, regardless of breed, in order to aid in the prevention of pet overpopulation. We strive to help decrease the number of dogs being euthanized in our local animal shelters by providing basic training for those dogs that have behaviors which need to be modified. We also make sure sick or injured animals receive veterinary care and necessary rehabilitation. Our dogs come to us from a variety of different sources. Some dogs are rescued from our City and County Shelters, most are strays, neglected, abandoned or abused dogs, and others are from our Community Outreach Program which helps to rehome family pets.

Who We Are: Animals Rule Placement Foundation is a registered 501 (C) 3 Non Profit Organization #13-4264510. We are based out of the South Bay, in the City of San Pedro, California. Our funding comes entirely from donations, our adoption fees and fund raisers. We do not receive any City, County or Government funding. Your tax deductible donation is used 100% for the welfare and veterinary care of the animals while they are with us.

Weekly Adoptions: Animals Rule holds adoptions every Saturday from 11:00AM to 3:00PM (rain or shine) at: Creative Pet Supply -305 N. Harbor Blvd. San Pedro, CA 90731.

Directions: Take the 405,91,5,105 Fwy to the Harbor 110 fwy South. Take the 47 Terminal Island/Long Beach off ramp and exit on Harbor Blvd. Go right on Harbor Blvd, through the first signal (O'Farrell) & we are immediately on the right in a big red brick building. Our Adoption Process...

We require applicants to fill out a 2 page application, we have a interview process and we do a home check. Some dogs require a signed training contract in order to be adopted.
All of our adoption fees vary from dog to dog and are tax deductible.
