I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.
This is Shadow, a beautiful, gentle English Setter we are fostering for an older man who can no longer keep her. She is 5 years old, and was once a hunting dog - she is now very happy to be a a family pet, and loves children. Although she is not a puppy, she still has some of the setter energy left, loves to play and take walks.
Sadly, Shadow has been diagnosed with PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy) - she is slowly going blind. She is very healthy and up to date on her shots otherwise, and the veternarian says that the PRA should not cause other health issues. She learns her surroundings quickly, goes up and down outdoor stairs well, although she may need help (a hand on her collar) to guide her down slippery (wooden) stairs.
Shadow is housebroken, very friendly, and would be best with a fenced yard and room to run. She loves kids, gets along well with other dogs, and would love to chase cats, but doesn't get the chance at her foster home.
