Uno is a male beagle mix(maybe with dachshund or basset?). According to the vet he is 4-6 years old. He doesn't howl as loudly as most beagles but he does keep his nose to the ground when he first goes outside.
Uno is a calm, sweet boy. He loves to snuggle and give kisses. He gets along great with my two large female golden mixes. He has had a couple of tiffs with the young male beagle we just adopted but the young one can be pretty obnoxious!
He has learned to sit and will do it without asking to get his treat after he goes potty outside. He walks great on the leash. I walk him on leash in the back yard to go potty. We are working on house training. He hasn't learned to bark to go out yet so I have to take him out at regular intervals.
Uno is crate trained and will go in there when the door is open to take a nap(on a blanket or bed of course!).
If food is left on table or counters he will try to go after it. So you must learn to put things away.
He is great with my 8 year old daughter. I'm not sure how he is with cats. We would keep him if we didn't already have three dogs and we want to be able to continue to foster. He will be a great addition to anyone's home!
His adoption fee is $195.00. He is up to date on vaccines, heartworm testing and has been neutered and microchipped and is now ready for a family of his own.

Yes, we adopt out of state providing you have an approved application. In order to be approved for out of state adoptions you MUST provide a vet reference and own your own home. We do NOT ship pets and require all family members as well as other family dogs to meet the new pet. We do not adopt outside of the US. We do require a vet check and if you do not have a past or present vet that we can speak with on how you cared for your pets, then we do require a home visit.
