Tank's story...
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ADOPTION IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH ANNEHURST VETERINARY HOSPITAL. PLEASE SEE THE CONTACT INFO AT THE BOTTOM.

I am looking to find a home for my 2 year old German Short Hair Pointer named Tank.

He comes from a strong pedigree of GSH pointers and champion line gun dogs that are fun loving and energetic. I purchased him from a very reputable breeder in Nebraska called M'Credible Gun Dogs - you can visit www.mcrediblegundogs.com for more information.

Tank is sociable with other pets and has been a great companion for our family. He is high energy which if you are looking at this breed you may already be aware of at this point. He will need plenty of exercise which is one of the main reasons I need to find him a new home because I cannot spend enough time due to work.

Please see attached pictures - as you will see he is a very healthy 2 year old sporting a white coat with brown details.

It is most important that we find him the right home. I would recommend plenty of room for exercise and someone with the ability to give him lots of attention - if you plan on hunting with him it would be a real plus too.

Feel free to call to talk more about Tank. I would be glad to provide you with more details.

Thank you,

Chris Stablein

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a veterinary hospital trying to give back to the community. We are sometimes able to rescue animals in need of veterinary care. If possible, we treat these animals and adopt them out. Many times we are able to save an animal that would have otherwise been euthanized, and place them in a loving home. Our rescue is funded by donations. Donations come in the form of adoption fees, client contributions, and our doctors volunteering their time and expertise. Our adoption program has truly made a difference in the lives of many animals, as well as the lives of the people they have touched.

Come Meet Our Pets...
Our pets can be seen at the hospital. We appreciate twenty four hour notice prior to appointment time. Please contact our rescue coordinator to set up an appointment. Our pets can also be seen at various adoption events around town. Please call for details.
Our Adoption Process...
Adoption fees vary with the amount of medical treatment a patient requires before it becomes eligable for adoption. For example, a puppy that requires major surgery will have a slightly higher adoption fee than a puppy that only needed vaccinations, deworming, and a neuter. All of our pets are spayed or neutered. We do have an adoption contract. Contact the hospital for details.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
We serve northeast Columbus. This includes Westerville, Worthington, Minerva Park, Galena, and Lewis Center, among others.
