Greetings! My name is Siouxsie. As you know, I was born without most of one rear leg. I have recently received surgery to remove the remaining portion of that limb, so I can live a long, comfortable, healthy life. The people at the Cat Connection Rescue Network saved me with my litter mates, including all the other feral adults who were then spayed and neutered. When I came to my foster Mom's house I was in pretty bad shape. Some people said I didn't even look like a kitten, but more like a chewed up little rat. I was terrified of humans, so I snarled and hissed and even tried to bite anyone who tried to come near me or my siblings. That didn't stop my foster family though. They love cats so much and really wanted to see us get the chance they think we all deserve. You know I have to admit it really is a great feeling to be loved so much. After a few weeks of hard work, I became a very spoiled little lap cat. I love being held and carried around. And you will never find a kitten who can run faster, even on 4 legs. I play with my siblings and need no help cause I'm a tough little girl. Now I run all over my foster Mom's house, and use the full size litter boxes like a pro. But now it's time for me to find my forever family. With someone who will love me and know just how special I really am. My foster Mom says the person who gets me will be really lucky because I am the most loving forever friend you could ever hope for. She always says good things come in small packages. So if your looking for a little girl who is loving and courageous, a girl who never gives up and will love you for the rest of her long life, your wait is over. About Our
Rescue Group...
We are a group of individuals that rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome abandoned and unwanted kittens and cats. We fully vet and care for our animals before they are adopted in order to help the transition to their new family. All of our cats/kittens are in private foster homes and are socialized. We do not ultilize boarding facilities. This allows us to get to know the animal better and place him or her in the situation that best fits the needs of that particular animal. FOSTER HOMES ARE DESPERATELY NEEDED! If you are willing to foster some of our sweet kitties until they find homes, please contact us. Foster homes are vital to coninuting to saving more deserving cats and kittens. Since our pets are in private foster homes, an appointment must be made to meet the pet depending on the location of the foster/rescuer. Our Adoption Process...
The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an adoption application. This can be obtained by emailing or calling us or by visiting our site (www.catconnectionnetwork.org) and click "adoption application". Once the adoption application is filled out please return it via email, fax, regular mail (to our PO box), or at one of our adoption events. Once it has been reviewed we will contact you if your application was approved. If everything looks like a match, we will set up a meet and greet with the pets that you are interested in. If you guys hit it off an adoption contract must be signed and an adoption fee is required to help offset the cost of vet bills that were paid. Adoption fees are $100 - $130 per animal. This includes spay/nueter, shots, flea control, deworming (2 types), FELV/FIV test, and Microchip. Please note that all animals must be altered before they will be available to go to an adoptive home.
