Cricket is one sweet boy. When his sibling are off playing sometimes, he will seek me out for attention. He loves to play with shoelaces and run up and down the stairs. He has a very sweet turn to him, but also likes to play. He is fast when I get the laser light out and he likes to carry around his fuzzy mice. He will head-butt me if we are at eye level and purrs to let me know he is happy. Cricket isn’t as hyper as some other kittens, but would enjoy the company of another cat. He would like to be with another kitty that likes to play some, but not one that would be too rough. Sometimes Cricket is up for more lovin’ than playing. If you’re looking for a kitten that is sweet and a little playful, Cricket is your boy!

We are a relatively new no-kill rescue group in Wake Forest, that takes in stray and abandoned cats / kittens, and then works to find them their forever homes. All of our animals are tested, vaccinated and have either been spayed or neutered. Although we currently have a wonderful all-volunteer staff, we always need more help (foster homes, fundraising, PR, website work, newsletters, etc). If you are interested in volunteering (even for just a few hours) or donating to help us rescue more cats and kittens, please contact us !!

Our adoption events are normally held each weekend at the PetSmart at BrierCreek ( Saturday from 11 - 2 and Sunday from 12:30 - 3:30 ) If you are interested in meeting one of our kitties, please email or call us !
Our Adoption Process...
We require that you fill out an application. If you live in an apartment, we then call them to insure they allow pets. If you have owned a pet before, we contact your vet for a reference. After these two things have been done, we then contact you to discuss your application. Our adoption fee is $100 for non- microchipped cats and $115 for microchipped cats, which covers our basic medical costs (vaccines, Feline Leukemia / FIV testing and spay/neuter).
