| Adoption application must be completed. We check vet and personal references. A home visit is conducted. Then Wanda calls and speaks to you about all the dogs CURRENTLY available that are a suitable match for your family. A decision is made about who is most suitable. Then you sign the adoption agreement, pay the adoption fees, and adopt the dog. We do transport out of state at the adopter's expense in addition to the adoption fee. Airfare is $175 plus crate and health certificate $60 plus adoption fee. Adoption fees vary depending upon costs of vetting and age of dog. Puppies under 6 months are $400 as they are the most desired of all the dogs and they help pay the vet bills on the older dogs. We do have a senior for senior program for persons over 70 wanting to adopt a dog over 9. |
