Casey recently made a long journey from KS where she was rescued from a puppy mill along with several other Min Pins. She is still a bit timid and shy and not sure what to do with her new freedom, but she is starting to play with the other dogs at her foster home, and will sit nearby on the sofa to be petted. Since she is still so shy, we believe she would be best placed in a home without children.

Casey is learning good canine manners from her foster mom and the other dogs, just like a puppy learning new things. For example, she has had to learn how to maneuver up and down stairs – when you spend most of your life in a cage, things like that are very new experiences. And she’s learning other good house manners, like what things are OK to chew on, and what things are not.

Casey is well on the way to becoming a wonderful companion, with many years of love to give to some lucky and understanding person who can give her the special care and attention she deserves. Watch for updates as this beautiful girl’s personality unfolds!
