Marybelle was picked up as a stray and we're guesses that she's approximately 18 months old. Marybelle spent her stay in the shelter hanging out in the office with 2 small dogs and a cat. Marybelle is doing wonderful in her foster home. She's a playful girl with a laid back personality. She's having a blast playing with her Basset and Bloodhound buddies as well as her friends at the fenced in leash free park. Marybelle shares toys and food with other dogs and really enjoys their company. She's learning basic commands and enjoys going for leash walks. Marybelle would be a wonderful addition to a family of her own. Please Note: We are all volunteers and busy taking care of our foster dogs so please take the time to fill out our o-nline adoption application if you are interested in more information about any of the hounds that we have for adoption. Filling out our application does not obligate you to adopt in any way. It does, however, help us to determine if the dog that your interested in would be a good match for your family and lifestyle. All of our dogs are fully vetted. They have been vaccinated, altered, microchipped and heartworm tested and on prevention. ADOPTION FEE: $350.00 LOCATION: Marybelle is currently in foster care in Toronto, ON. Transportation to her forever home can be arranged. Don't let distance deter you! If you would like to give this beautiful girl a forever home please fill out our on line adoption application at ADOPTION APPLICATION Bloodhounds require A SECURELY FENCED YARD. Invisible/underground electric fences don't work on these dogs. They get a scent and are totally oblivious to anything else around them.....including traffic. Bloodhounds don't tie or chain well either. They are fine for apartment living as long as they get enough exercise. All of our dogs are adopted to be "in-the-house" family members. Bloodhounds are not for everyone, they can't roam free and can't be walked off leash. |
