Feathers's story...
Feathers is a delicate and soft-as-a-feather girl, a tiny cat abandoned at the shelter. She's so gentle and tender-hearted! Feathers was very frightened when we first met her, what with all the unfamiliar people and smells. It's obvious that she has been a loved kitty. So what happened that she now finds herself in the animal shelter? She wonders about that, and so do we. It may never be known. But what we do know is that Feathers is safe now. While we interacted with her, we could watch her self-esteem go from "Low" to "Okay" within just a few minutes. Despite the shock she's been dealt, Feathers is pretty unruffled after all. We think she is adaptable, and will make herself at home in a new place with no trouble at all.

Feathers has tested negative for FIV, and this feminine, loving baby is all ready to begin her life anew. We think she is young, possibly under a year-old. She promises never to be a boa to whomever adopts her. (Har Har.) She will find her spot to nest, perhaps in a sunny window, and will greet her special someone lovingly at day's end. What more could a person want? Do you think Feathers could be just the very feline to float around your household? If so, please call the Town of Hickory Creek Animal Control to meet her. The pet adoption fee is $100 and includes the following:

Distemper Shot (DHLPPC)*
Heartworm Test (HWT)

*DHLPPC = Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospira, Serovars = 4-Way which is Caricola, Icterohae morrhagiae, Grippotyphosa, Pomona, Parainflueza, Parvo, Corona

Cats
Spay or Neuter
Rabies shot good for one year
Distemper Shot (FVRCP)
Leukemia Test (FELV/FIV)
