The story of Honey- Honey is an approximately two year old Pit bull that presented to VCA Crocker Animal Hospital in an extremely thin condition with a severe vaginal prolapse and secondary rectal prolapse. She was abandoned by her owners in need of intensive care. Unable to contact the owners due to false information provided, Crocker Animal Hospital took responsibility for Honey and initiated the care that she needed. Honey has had quite the journey, but after surgery and intensive care, she has recovered well and is ready for a new home! She has a sweet temperament and tolerated treatment without a complaint. She has a lot of energy (as any young bully breed does!), but will do well with training and lots of exercise. Honey would likely do best as an only pet as she has not previously been socialized with other dogs and cats. She will make a great companion in a loving home. Honey has been spayed and has received her initial vaccinations. There are no expected long-term effects from Honey’s presenting condition. Honey has come so far! There is just one more step . . . finding a home!
