This Bichon was rescued from a commercial puppy mill and can only be placed in a home with a socialized dog already living there. The children in the home must be over the age of 10.
Allie has spent her whole life in a small cage in a commercial kennel. Allie was most likely born in 2005 and weighs 16 pounds. Here's what Allie has to say:
My name is Allie, I have been hanging out with another bichon and she is showing me the ropes. I'm kind of quiet right now. I'm learning how to do my duty outside, that's very different for me, but I'm learning. I like walking next to my foster mom on a leash, it's kind of cool! She keeps on calling me to come to her, so I'm trying to make her happy so I go to her.
I have only been with my new family a short time, I haven't played with any toys yet but I have tried my foster dog sister's bones, they are pretty good. I promise I will be good for you too. I will keep learning, little by little. If you noticed, I'm very cute and will be even cuter once my hair grows back.
Allie is being fostered in CT
