Owner relinquished pets account for a very high percentage of the population at Animal Services and other rescue organizations. To reduce this influx into our shelters, NO PLACE LIKE HOME provides the following service:
STAY HOME - Helps people to keep their pets by assisting them with solutions to problems they are experiencing, i.e., behavioral problems, containment issues, providing financial assistance for training or medical problems, etc., or, RE-HOME: Encourages owners to “foster” their pet until a proper home can be found. We provide placement assistance through website postings, breed rescue networking, advertising in papers, and flyer postings throughout the county. |
