Little Bear is an adorable 5 year old big, Chow mix in need of a home! Bear was turned into a pound in southern IL because his owner was moving and could not take him along. Bear is the perfect dog...quiet, well mannered, gentle and affectionate. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but warms up quickly. He'll be the perfect pet for anyone looking to adopt an easy going, well behaved dog past the puppy stage. He's gets along well with people of all ages and other animals alike and is just an all around good boy! He's also crate trained and housebroken and would love to go home with you today! We are a small no-kill shelter on the north side of Chicago for canines. All animals are spayed/neutered, wormed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.All potential adopters must visit the shelter or foster home before adopting, we do not ship our animals.
Adoption fees for dogs are $250 and up, All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and given first dose of wormer. Contracts are required.
