| I have been in the rescue since February 2007!! I was adopted by an employee here and lived in her barn for a little while until she had to move and couldn't take me with her. I am a very sweet cat when given the chance to warm up to you. I don't like to be held at all, and dogs and other cats scare me. Do you have the patience to give a cat like me a home? Potential adopters are then approved or not approved by the adoption coordinatior and contacted with the final decision. Cats and kittens are tested for FeLV & FIV and dogs over 6 months are tested for Heartworms. The adoption fee includes the animals up to date vaccines, spay/neuter, deworming and a dose of flea and heartworm prevention to go home. All cats, kittens and dogs are spayed/neutered before going to their new home. Puppies are to be brought back by their adopter to be spayed/neutered when of age/weight. |
