Bertha is on hold for medical reasons and we hope to update soon.
She's a very nice and affectionate girl who is 4 to 5 years old. She was quiet and clean in her kennel while she was at the shelter and she's 81 lbs. Bertha is use to living inside and is already house trained. She will go to the door and ask to go outside. She's an absolute sweetheart who behaves very well in the house. She's learning basic commands and to walk nicely on a leash. She's picking up quickly and is very smart girl! Please Note: We are all volunteers and busy taking care of our foster dogs so please take the time to fill out our o-nline adoption application if you are interested in more information about any of the hounds that we have for adoption. Filling out our application does not obligate you to adopt in any way. It does, however, help us to determine if the dog that your interested in would be a good match for your family and lifestyle.
All of our dogs are fully vetted. They have been vaccinated, altered, microchipped and heartworm tested and on prevention.

LOCATION: Bertha is currently in foster care in Oshawa, ON. Transportation to her forever home can be arranged. Don't let distance deter you!

FENCED YARD. Invisible/underground electric fences don't work on these dogs. They get a scent and are totally oblivious to anything else around them.....including traffic. Bloodhounds don't tie or chain well either. They are fine for apartment living as long as they get enough exercise.
All of our dogs are adopted to be "in-the-house" family members. Bloodhounds are not for everyone, they can't roam free and can't be walked off leash.  |
