“Hi, my name is Rusty.  I’m about 9 months old, and I weigh 40 lbs.  I am a happy pup looking for a forever home.  I   spend my time day dreaming about being adopted by the perfect family.  I'm just a young guy with lots of energy, and would love to have an active family to run and play with me.  I'm a smart boy and, if you just spend a little time with me, I will learn my manners very quickly.  I just learned how to sit and was rewarded with a treat.  Wow, that was really easy!  I love soft, squeaky toys to play with, and I really love to chase balls, and play pull.  How do you like my floppy ears?  I must have some hound in me, probably lab, but don’t you just love my beautiful brindle coat?  I have been neutered (ugh!), and I am up to date on all my shots.  Won't you please let me be your best friend?'
