Jazzy was rescued from a high kill shelter where she was going to be euthanized due to lack of space. She is a sweet loving girl that need a family to call her own. She has a lot of energy and would do best with an active family.

She is spayed, current on vaccines, dewormed, heartworm negative and has been started on monthly heartworm and flea preventative. Adoption fee is $145.00.

About Our Rescue Group...

Homeward Bound is a non profit, no-kill organization based in Gilmer County, Georgia which began in August 2000. We are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for unwanted companion animals, while actively seeking permanent homes through our adoption programs. We take in dogs and cats that are found as strays, owner surrenders and abandoned. We also take animals out of high kill shelters to prevent them from being euthanized. We have rescued and adopted out about 4,000 animals.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold adoptions every Saturday from 11-5 and every odd Sunday (1st, 3rd and 5th) at PetSmart, 860 Cobb Place Blvd., Kennesaw, GA 30144 (off of Barrett Parkway).

Our Adoption Process...

All dogs are spayed/neutered, current to age on vaccines, dewormed, heartworm negative, and started on heartworm preventative and flea preventative. Adoption fee for dogs are $145.00 cash or check.

All cats are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, dewormed, FELV/FIV negative and started on flea preventative. Adoption fee is $110.00 cash or check.

Application review and approval is required prior to adopting. Adopters must be at least 21 years old.

We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...

We serve the Gilmer County/Ellijay area along with the Kennesaw/Atlanta, GA area.
