Lucky is an 8 year old Rat Terrier. He was given to A Buddy For Life, Inc, when his elderly mommy went into a nursing home and could no longer care for him. Lucky is a one person dog. He lived with his momma since he was a puppy, and has never known anyone but her as his leader, protector, and caretaker. He would do well in a quiet home with no children or rambunctious dogs around. As his momma got older, she could no longer take him outside to use the potty, so she started training him on pee-pee pads. We are working with Lucky to get him adjusted to going outside again. He also had a tumor removed and biopsied. Lucky does have stage 2 mast cell cancer, but requires no special treatment at this time and still has years of love to give that right person. With some patience, he would be a wonderful dog for someone who would like a tiny companion to keep them company. Can you help Lucky be lucky in life again?
