Hi, there!  My name is Snickerdoodle, SNICKERS for short!  I am a very lively, full of vim and vinegar Pekinese male—neutered, fully vetted including Rabies, crate trained, house trained, and anxious for a new home. Are you the right home for me? 
I use the doggie door like a pro, and love to run around the backyard with the other dogs at my foster home.  I do chase the tennis ball and stuffed animals, and return them for you to throw again, and again, and again….   I have endless energy!  I even play  nicely with the family cat, even when he doesn’t play nicely!  The pesky squirrels in the backyard, racing up and down the fence, drive me crazy! 
 I have never had a lot of freedom, so if the fence gate is left open, I RUN!  Once I am sure that you are chasing me and have had enough exercise for the day, I stop and come back!  However, when my foster mom takes me for a walk, I am very well behaved—I don’t lunge or tug on the leash, I walk very quickly and quietly. I do stop occasionally to check out a bush or tree, but move right along when my foster mom tells me to keep walking.   I don’t bark unless the other dogs bark. I am not a chewer.  If allowed, I sleep on the bed at night, but I also walk right into the crate and sleep through the night unless I really, really need to outside and do my business…..   That doesn’t happen very often.    .
$200 adoption fee for Snickers, who will only go to a home knowledgeable about Peke coat care.
Snickers has registration paperwork as he was purchased from a pet store by his former owner when he was a puppy.

**All our foster dogs and puppies have been vaccinated with Galaxy DA2PPv at least ONE TIME. When appropriate and available, they get a rabies vaccination, and they have been dewormed at least once. They come with a health record that reflects this at the time of adoption. They are also Microchipped and come with a free month of health insurance.** If interested in adopting this pet please email us and request an application to complete and return via email. No meet and greets take place without a completed/approved application. Important note: beginning in June of 2007, homes with children under 7 years of age will be required to enroll any puppies or adult dogs (at our discretion) adopted from us in puppy kindergarten and/or basic obedience classes. **We DO allow out of state adoptions, but we DO NOT ship our pets, all adopters are required to pick up their new family member HERE, within a week of your application being completed and being approved to adopt.**
