Holly-Jolly's Story...
Holly-Jolly was found dumped off at a new subdivision, she was very thin and frightened. It took quite a bit of coaxing to gte her to come to us. She gets her name because she is eternally happy. She wiggles not only her tail but her whole body. She loves to be inside and curled up on the couch next to me. She has very short hair and the coloring is similar to that of a black&tan. Her personality is that of a boxer or lab. She is proptective of her people and will bark at strangers but will warm up quickly. She is about 2-2-1/2 yrs. old and up to date. She is a love-bunny.

About Our Rescue Group...
I moved to the north Georgia mountains 18 years ago and while I love the mountains, I was sickened to see how many domestic animals are dumped in the mountains and left to fend for themselves. I started taking them in a few at a time, and spent thousands of $ I earned as a nurse. I soon became a non-profit licensed shelter. I work the shelter as a sole volunteer with an occasional hand from my children. To date, I have placed over 500 needy animals most of them large dogs. It is defeating at times as I seem to get 3 critters in for each one I place but I try to remember that as far as the overpopulation problem, I don't make much of a difference in the world, but to those I have taken care of, I have made a world of a difference. I do not get any public funding and we are always looking for food, medical, bedding, etc. donations. I do not euthanize an animal because their medical needs are too great, they're too old or too something else( people come up with some doosies). They only need a chance and they get it with me. If you have some extra funds to spare, we would appreciate it. I am a single working Mom with 3 kids and dozens of needy big lovable lugs that need their own family to care for and love them. Come and meet our crew.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We are flexible for meeting our pets. We welcome you to our home where the animals are our personal pets and socialized until they become yours. Just give us a call. I also bring some of our pets to PETSMART to show and adopt them.
Our Adoption Process...
We do interview prospective adoptive families to be sure we have a match and to be sure our pets like you. Our fees are $150.00 for adoption which covers spay/neuter, all shots inc. rabies, wormer, and heart-worm test. These fees don't quite cover our costs(check it out with your vet) but it helps defray some of our costs so the next animal we take in can be taken care of medically. I will always take my own animals back, and we hold the checks for 10 days just to be sure it is a match.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
Atlanta Georgia and surrounding area. Also, Chicago and surrounding area
