Sandy wrote:
Here is a beautiful little dog, with a big dog personality. Rennie is a sturdy, little guy with lots of energy, probably a dachshund/Chihuahua mix. At just 15 pounds, his short thick coat is easy maintenance and a lovely color. His nose is light brown and so are his large, bright eyes and his ears stand straight up always listening. He is alert, loves to play with toys, and loves to cuddle. At about 1 to 2 years of age, he has all the energy of a puppy, but is responsive and wants to please. He isn't too fond of larger dogs, they seem to make him nervous, so probably best in a home by himself, or with a smaller young female dog. He doesn't seem familiar with children so would be best in an adult home of an experienced dog owner. But he is so funny and affectionate, there will never be a dull moment when he is in your life. Can you give him a forever home?

Please see our other available dogs at A Leg Up Rescue. A Leg Up Rescue must charge an adoption fee which is $200.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete our online adoption application, or please email aLegUp@me.com.

Come Meet Our Pets...
A Leg Up Rescue's dogs are kept in loving foster homes in and around the San Francisco Bay Area where they can relax and let their true personalities shine. They also begin to exhibit exceptional house manners as our foster homes are dedicated and experienced.

We will make arrangements for approved potential adopters to meet a dog, or you may visit us at one of our Meet & Greet events detailed on our web site.

Our Adoption Process...
We request potential adopters to complete an adoption application and agree to a home visit. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and receive a comprehensive medical examination prior to being adopted. We make every effort to match the right dog with the right family.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
San Francisco, Marin and Sonoma Counties, Mid-Peninsula, down to San Jose, and limited East Bay areas.
