What a cutie!!!

Please meet Buster - an adorable Pug/Boxer mix. He was rescued by a kind postman who spotted the starving dog on his route one day. Now safe in our care, Buster is ready for his forever home. He is about 30 lbs and full grown. Has the cutest little face!! Great with other dogs, very playful and friendly!

Buster is up to date on shots and dewormings. He is also on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention.

Buster would make an excellent family pet or a buddy for another dog.
Age as of 8/09: app. 7 months

Buster is in a foster home, and you will need to make an appointment to visit with him.

About Our Rescue Group...
TEARS, The Emergency Animal Rescue Service, is a not-for-profit Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals dedicated to the rescue of injured animals, the investigation of cruelty and the prosecution thereof. We are one of the few organizations in Central Alabama operating on a 24 hour a day, seven day a week basis. We are also one of the only organizations which extends help to ALL animals, including wildlife, reptiles and livestock and specializing in horses. Our incorporation allows us to function through out the state of Alabama.

TEARStown is open to the public every Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.. Location in Birmingham Alabama, near Pleasant Grove.
Our Adoption Process...
A pre-screen of potential adoptees is required by completing a Pre-Adoption form on our website.

Our adoption fee is $105.00 for our rescues. The adoption fee helps us defray some of the cost of medical treatment the animals have already received.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
