| Size: | Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less | Sex: | Male |
I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
This Bichon was rescued from a commercial puppy mill and can only be placed in a home with
a socialized dog already living there.
The children in the home must be over the age of 10.
Snowy is a male bichon who was born in 1997. He weighs 12 pounds. Snowy can be adopted for the Senior Dog Rate of $75.00
Snowy is a very happy little guy. He seems to have completely forgotten that he lived his first years in a puppy mill. He certainly doesn't realize he is a senior! If it wasn't for his lack of teeth, you would swear he is much younger. Unfortunately, all but one of his teeth (way in the back) needed to be removed when he came into rescue, but what he loses in chewing ability he makes up for with enthusiasm. He is able to eat small dry dog food, moist food, and loves treats! He is first in line for any type of food and revels in every bite size piece.
He hasn't quite figured out dog toys yet, but he sure loves running around and playing with the other dogs. And if the other dogs can't keep up with him? No problem, he can romp around the house and entertain himself. When he does get tired, he is more than happy to snuggle up. Snowy is a true joy and is sure to bring smiles to all who are lucky enough to meet him.
Snowy is house trained and walks well on a leash.
Snowy is being fostered in IL.
