| Here is what my Foster Mom has to say about me: As you can tell, Archie is pretty special and one lucky boy. I have had a number of fosters in my home over my years in rescue, and he’s pretty much at the top of my list. He’s a snuggler at night, he has his own bed but has found his way to the bottom of my bed while he has been staying with us, he’s a lapdog very happy to curl up and sleep the day away in my arms. He barks to let me know he’s ready for his food dish to hit the floor, he walks very well on a lead, he is 100% potty trained, he’s very quiet and reserved around the house, happy to just have a home and someone to love him. He is currently living with 2 Goldens and 5 other dachshunds. He is not food aggressive, dog aggressive, thunder-phobic, he has been childtested, he’s a good eater, and does not snap fingers when taking treats. My Foster mom says I can stay as long as necessary to find the perfect home for me. I am enjoying my new lease on life everyday and I know somewhere there is someone who will walk with me for the remaining years, someone who will love me, share their life and most intimate thoughts with, someone who will talk to me as my foster mom does, someone who will kiss my nose and give me big hugs, someone who will keep me warm in the winter and cool in the summer and, first and foremost, healthy and safe.
