My name is Manny. I was given this name because I’m a bit of a tough guy. Though my suave good looks and 15lb frame may be a bit deceiving, as I am really a total control freak! I was born about 2 years ago and while DRSF does not know the true story of my difficult past, let it suffice to say that I am an A+ dominant male.

Like any tough guy, the secret to winning my heart is playing hard to get! Ignore me and I just can’t stand it; I’ll jump right in your lap! Till then, I’m very happy occupying myself with endless rounds of “fetch.” You name it, I’ll chase it and bring it back! Bringing out my touchy-feely side is going to take some time, but will be worth it once I learn to let my guard down. Because I need a strong hand, I will only be adopted to a household experienced with doxi-stubbornness. For a dog as special as me, DRSF is hoping for a home that is looking for a very rewarding challenge and has the ability to love unconditionally. Since I am still a work in progress (my foster Aunt’s words) I will not be adopted to a household with children, and I need a home with a well-fenced backyard where I will spend endless hours chasing anything you throw for me to fetch. When you get tired of playing with me, no worries, I can keep myself entertained just running around with any toy I can get in my mouth (soooo darn cute!). Come on adopters out there, who’s “man” (or woman) enough for our Manny!?!
