| Meet Gabbi! He is a happy youngster full of personality & energy and is looking for his very own happy, energetic human companion! We guess him to most likely a teenager in doggy years! He loves to chase his nubby tail in circles and attempt to catch flying insects in mid air! He is very sweet, loving and gentle! At approximately 25-30 lbs. or so, he has the confirmation and size of a Cocker Spaniel but the look and soft, shiny, straight coat of a Lab! He enjoys the outdoors and being the center of attention! He is neutered, up to date on his shots, HW & flea/tick prevention and gets along well with other dogs and people. We are unsure about cats, but we know he loves to run along the fence line barking at horses! Gabbi is an extremely agile and intelligent escape artist and has mastered the art of getting out of chained link fencing. He is crate trained but prefers the comforts of a climate controlled room, interesting t.v. shows, a great sofa with a kind-hearted human to cuddle & pet him! While he needs a lot of exercise in the great outdoors, Gabbi will be much happier and safer if he is kept indoors and not left outside in a fenced in yard unattended.
TEARS rescued Gabbi out of a very busy highway. He has a couple of permanent scars on his shoulders as a constant reminder of his up close and personal contact with asphalt. These scars do not diminish his good looks or his charm. He desperately wants to be someone’s special dog! He barks to let you know when something is not “right” and is well behaved over all. He would do well with agility training and competition because of his fearless spirit, high energy and speed. And of course, like most dogs, he follows his nose & tummy and will do just about anything you want him to do for some tasty doggy treats!
