My name is actually Goldie. At 10 yrs of age I found myself at a Kill shelter until the Angels spotted me and saved my life. I'm about 6 lbs,and am vision impaired, but that doesn't stop me from going outside to potty. I am a very good girl and love to sleep most of the day. I stay in my crate unless I want to potty or eat. I like to walk around a bit for a little exercise but then am most content to go back and crawl into a soft bed and go to sleep I however LOVE to eat. This is why I have to get a little exercise to keep my weight down. I do have severe dry eye and will need ointment every day for the rest of my life. Otherwise I'm a happy no trouble little girl, just looking for a warm comfy bed to call my own.
I am spayed, up to date on all my shots including rabies, heartworm tested (neg), microchipped, dewormed for intestinal parasites, currently on a heartworm and flea preventative. I come with one free vet visit. My adoption donation is $150.00. We are a non profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of unwanted dogs. We take our pets from kill shelters, owners who can longer care for them, and strays. They are completed vetted and then fostered in our homes until the perfect family can be found for them.
We show our adoptable dogs every Saturday between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm at the Petco on the corner of N. Dale Mabry Hwy and Fletcher Ave. in Tampa.
Our Adoption Process...
We have an application that is the first step in our adoption process. This application can be downloaded from our website at www.lostangelsanimalrescue.org. The adoption fee varies depending on the medical expenses incurred. We also require vet references and potentially a home visit before an adoption is finalized.
