Lois's story...
Please contact Peg (peg@sugarfootfarm.com) for more information about this pet.

Lois is not the dog for just anyone. When I first saw her at the shelter she was cowering in the corner, a very skinny and nervous dog. When I went in the kennel with her she curled her lip, afraid what I might do to her. I took her because I knew she would never be adopted in this condition - skinny and scared. So I brought Lois home and it took a while for her to trust me. She still is afraid of strangers and will fear bite. She loves me, plays with me and is a great friend and protector. Anyone who would consider adopting Lois will just have to remember that you won't win her trust overnight but once you do you'll have the most devoted and loving friend you could ever ask for.

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a small farm in Kentucky, originally to buy and sell horses. We have found however, that there are so many dogs being euthanized locally, that we have changed our mission to be SUGARFOOT FARM RESCUE for dogs.

Our mission is to adopt animals in danger and provide for their health concerns. Our goal is to place all rescued animals into good homes.

Before an animal is adopted, they each receive a health exam, shots, wormer, and are either spayed or neutered.

Once an animal is safe and healthy, they are adopted out to handpicked families that will provide good homes for them.

We love our pets and want to adopt them out to people who will love them as much as we do!
