Jazper is a very special man who will need an exceptionally special family. He is approximately 10 yo and weighs about 5 lb.
While his past is unknown, we can tell that he hasn't received proper medical care for many years. Jaz's sight and hearing are impaired, his back is touched by arthritis and his patellas have degenerated, giving him a stiff legged walk. Despite all of this, he manages to be quite a happy little boy who eats well, sleeps well and loves to be loved. He'll be one of the first to join you in the kitchen if he thinks treats are being given out!
I realize that this paints quite a picture, but once you see his face, you can't help but fall in love!?! Just take a peek at this sweetheart of a boy and see if you can't find room in your heart and life for this darling.
He is neutered, up to date on all his shots including rabies, heartworm tested (neg), microchipped, dewormed for intestinal parasites, currently on a heartworm and flea preventative. He also comes with one free vet visit. Jazper's adoption donation is $150.00. We are a non profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of unwanted dogs. We take our pets from kill shelters, owners who can longer care for them, and strays. They are completed vetted and then fostered in our homes until the perfect family can be found for them.
We show our adoptable dogs every Saturday between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm at the Petco on the corner of N. Dale Mabry Hwy and Fletcher Ave. in Tampa.
Our Adoption Process...
We have an application that is the first step in our adoption process. This application can be downloaded from our website at www.lostangelsanimalrescue.org. The adoption fee varies depending on the medical expenses incurred. We also require vet references and potentially a home visit before an adoption is finalized.
